Happy New Year!

We Miss You!
We are so sorry we have been out of communication with you. It has been a rough last quarter for us. Many things have been happening that we've had to navigate through. From working on finances, losing one of our store clerks, medical issues, second job issues, work travel, moving, and generally being overwhelmed. We hope you forgive our brief stumble.

We know this time of year is rough on us all. Life often throws curveballs we have to dodge. Things that help to keep us stable are sometimes moved unexpectedly and we reach for them finding very little to grasp. Somehow, through friends, family or even strangers, we get through it. A kind word, a lost item being return, a friendly smile, someone being patient with us after a bad day, maybe just the thing we need to get us through the day.

For me, I need to remember to give myself grace. Grace to get through the difficulty. Grace to know you are allowed to be imperfect and who you are today is enough. I think we don't take enough time to give ourselves that grace. It is a new year--my focus is to give myself grace.

We at The Altered Stitch are so grateful for all of our community and the connections we have made over the years. While we may have made many mistakes, maybe "zigged" when we should have "zagged," you continue to be there for us and we will never have the words to express our thanks enough.
So THANK YOU from all of us here at The Altered Stitch! We hope that 2025 will be the beginning of amazing things for you all! From our family to yours, Happy New Year!!

Red Stag Restock

Red Stag Fibre has been restocked! Josh, the Dyer behind these amazing colors names his colors based on history! Here is his post talking about the color pictured here:
