Le Pouf Cardigan with Andrea (part 2 of 4)

Ever wanted to knit a cardigan? Well here is your chance! The Le Pouf Cardigan is a simple pattern by Hedgehog Fibers. It is a top down raglan sleeved sweater using a "fade" where you blend the colors using different yarns. In this class you will not only learn to fade, but also the construction of a raglan sweater. If you haven't knit a sweater before -- this class is for you.

The sweater is knit with either two strands of fingering held together at the same time or, if you prefer to make the sweater one color, you would use one strand of DK weight. The pattern is very versatile and can easily be modified for a different sleeve. Don't worry, we will help you finish.. Extra assistance can be provided on Knit Nights, before, and after class.

This class is broken into 4 three hour sessions as follows:

Part 1- Cast on and learn to make front, shoulder, and back increase.

Part 2- Separate sleeves, start body, talk fade, ribbing edge, and ribbed bind-off.

Part 3- Pick-up stitches for sleeves, talk matching fade on sleeves, and knitting in magic loop.

Part 4- Pick-up stitches for collar, ribbing, ribbed bind-off, and finishing.
