Wild Heart SOCKS

If you know how to knit in the round and are ready to try to knit socks, this is the class! In this 6 hour class (broken in three sessions) we will be knitting the "Wild Heart" socks knitting pattern by Crazy Sock Lady Designs.  In this class you will learn the basic construction of the top down sock (from the cuff)

Pre-requisites:

-knitting in the round with either double pointed needles or magic loop. If you do not know how to knit in the round, you can set up a private class with Andrea to learn this.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to teach this during the Zoom Class.

Materials

-Yarn: (Yarn must be purchased at the store or through our on-line store) 100 grams/350-463 yards of Fingering / Sock weight yarn. (Merino/Nylon)

-Needles: US 1/2.25mm – Your choice: DPNs, Magic Loop using a 32” cable, 9” Circular. Pattern is

not written for a specific way of working in the round.

-Notions: Cable Needle, Stitch markers, Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

-The pattern Wild Heart by Crazy Sock Lady Designs, must be bought through Ravelry

The class is taught in THREE 2 hour sessions.

-Part One:  The cuff, the anatomy of the sock and the cabled pattern

-Part Two: Second class you learn the heel flap, turning the heel, and the gusset.

-Part Three: The toe decrease, the Kitchener stitch, and hiding the ends of yarn (weaving in the ends) into your project.
