Broom Riders

For Halloween, we are going to make a pair of cute, witchy socks. The socks made with jogless stripes in 2 different high contrast colours. The pattern is written for toe-up socks and can be knitted with double pointed needles or in magic loop. It is your choice. The class includes three sessions. The first part will discuss starting a sock toe up and how to work the foot We will do the heel turn and flap in the second class. The final class will involve finishing the cuff and over all finishing techniques. It is preferred that you have taken Sock 101 or have had sock knitting experience. If you don’t have experience with socks and want to take the class, please contact the shop to talk to the teacher first. Let’s enjoy this magical experience together.

350 yds each of white and black fingering weight yarn

(Or 2 high contrast colours)

US 2 DPNs or Circulars for Magic Loop
