Alaska
Ever wanted to try colourwork? The Alaska Hat is a wonderful project to try. The hat is bottom up and begins with 2x2 ribbing and then follows a chart for stranded knitting. You will use two contrasting fingering weight yarns create the trees and skyline on the project. The background colour looks amazing in a gradient but can be made with a tonal or solid. Class may be attended in person or via Zoom.
When: Saturday, Jan 22nd and Feb 5th
Time: 5-7 p.m. (outside regular hours)
Cost: $60
Prerequisites: Must be able to knit, purl, and work in the round.

US 2.5 and 4 in 16” circular needles
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Markers
Scissors
Pompom maker (optional)
2 skeins of high contrasting fingering weight yarn
