FREE KAL NIGHT!!!- The Basketweaver by Stephen West
Join us once again for FREE KAL NIGHT. This time we are doing The Basketweaver Shawl by Stephen West. Do NOT let the designer of the pattern scare you off from this amazing KAL. If you ever wanted to try one of his designs, this is a good one. The Basketweaver is a more repetitive pattern that can ease you into his style of writing. It is a top down semi-circular shawl that uses knits and purls to create a cozy basket weave motif. You will use DK weight yarn, but you can also choose to use Malabrigo Rios. Malabrigo is fantastic to work with. The shawl requires 920 yards and a size US 7 needle. This class is instructor free. Bring a friend or make a few in the group. This KAL is designed to rely on community to get through the pattern together. If you would like extra help, we do have drop-in help classes twice a week or we can arrange a private or semi-private lessons (even on Zoom). You can join this group in person or via Zoom. It is your choice. We only ask that you buy your materials for the KAL from the shop so we can continue to offer free events like these.
