Want to learn a new craft this year? Learn basic knitting skills in this new & improved two session intruduction class. You will learn the basics of knitting including: Cast on, cast off, the knit stich, and the purl stitch.
You will need some worsted weight (#4), light colored, non variegated yarn. a US 9 needle (circular or straight) and that's it!

NOTE: Yarn for the class must be purchased at The Altered Stitch. Please, come early to pick your materials and have them wound before class begins. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
