Fridays are for fun and knitting, so join us for FREE KAL NIGHTS!!! Every month we choose a different project to knit together as a community (without an instructor). Grab a friend or make one here. You can bring snacks or BYOW . We just ask that you buy your materials from us in order to keep this EVENT FREE.
This month we are making the Ric Rac by Casapinka. She released this pattern for Worldwide Knit in Public Day and so we made a sample in the shop. Many, many yarnies from our community asked when are we going to make this pattern as a group. We are excited to respond to your request. The Ric Rac is a fun boomerang style shawlette that knits up fairly quickly. You just need 800 yds of fingering weight yarn, in other words, 2 skeins of 2 different colours and a size US 6 circular needle. Remember, there is no instructor. This group is designed for community building and making friends. Don't be shy about asking each other questions or just simply talk and have fun. It is after all a Friday night!!!
