Tinsel Mitts
Learn to make friends with DPN's and knit some toasty warm classic convertible or fingerless mitts, with Alicia. This pattern has got it all! Can be knit in any size from toddler to large adult. A simple relaxing knit, with faux seams up the front and back to add a touch of modern style. Easily knit up and using less than a skein of DK yarn, these mitts are the perfect fall & winter pattern! The shop has lovely DK yarns from hand dyers; Purls & Postulates, Thread Head, and others to offer.
You will learn how to cast on with DPN's, knit in the round, thumb gusset, increase, right leaning, and left leaning increases. Prerequisite: basic knitting skills, cast on, knit & purl.

Supplies: 1 skein DK, US 3 DPN's, various small stitch markers, darning needle
