Musselburgh
The Meusselburgh Hat by Ysolda Teague is our next adventure without leaving home in the Lazy Sunday Zoomers Group. We are now past the point where we have to Zoom. We CHOOSE to Zoom because it is Sunday and we want to relax and we did chores all day (as we claimed) and we are still in our PJ's and we are settling down for the evening to do some crafting with a group of fiber friends with the same mentality, craft and relax. The Musselburgh is a reversible hat. You start by shaping the top of the crown of the hat and you just knit in the round mindlessly until you reach the time to decrease the other end to close the unwoven ends inside! Then one side tucks into the other to create the reversible hat. This may sound boring but this is a blank canvas for fun. Use mini skeins and scraps. You can make one side one colour and the other side another colour in order to have 2 different colour hats in one. You can make big stripes on one half and micro stripes on the other. There are so many options. The hat is just waiting for your creative imagination.
