Crochet Chart Pattern Reading
Required knowledge; chaining, single crochet, double crochet. You already know your basic crochet stitches but, have you ever wanted to begin a pattern and wondered what that chart means? In this two-hour course you will learn the language of charted crochet patterns. I will be teaching from a pattern by: Joanne Scrace, Contour Shawl. It is a charted pattern also with written instructions. You will learn to read the chart, working in rows, raised (post) stitches. As a reference guide, I like to use The Ultimate Crochet Bible by Jannie Crowfoot. Which can be ordered from Amazon if you wish? It is not required. I will have my copy in class for your viewing on the day of class.
