Frog & Toad - In Shop Only
Hippity hop into spring with a whimsical stuffy to knit or crochet. This adorable pair are based on the beloved children’s story book; Frog and Toad Are Friends. This is a modular knitting project. Basic, confident knitting knowledge is required; cast-on, knit, purl. Short row shaping and increase, decrease techniques used will be demonstrated and be part of skill development in class. Please hop on into the shop and join our party as this is an in-person only class but it will be such a fantastic time.

Frog & Toad:
65 yds Light Worsted/DK weight yarn for Frog
50 yds Light Worsted/DK weight yarn for Toad
(Yardage for Knit or Crochet is the same)
US 1(2.25 mm) Double pointed needles
US B-, 2.25 mm crochet hook
Stitch Markers (including removable stitch markers)
Waste yarn
1 Bag of plastic pellets
Small amount of black embroidery floss
Sewing needle and white sewing thread
Clothing:
25-45yds Fingering weight yarn in 4 contrasting colours
Recommended: Emma’s Practically Perfect Mini’s
will be available in the shop.
US 1(2.25 mm) needles

NOTE: Materials for this class must be purchased at The Altered Stitch. PLEASE come early to pick your materials and have them wound before class begins. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
