Lisa Appreciations Sweaters
Christmas in July is a term used by crafters for the time of year to begin crafting all the present for the year's gifting season. We found some sweaters that are perfect for your favourite unicorn lover and Lisa Frank fanatic (look at the name of the pattern). This class combines two versions of the pattern that are both written by Tanis Gray. The first is written for adults and is called The Lisa Appreciation Pullover and is in sizes 1-14 with a bust circumference all the way up to 70.25". The other pattern is called Mini Lisa Appreciation Pullover with sizes 1-5 with a chest circumference of 22-30" The motifs are similar in both adult and child pattern. Also, the contrast needs to be high, if you want the whimsical unicorn and heart motifs to really stand out and dance across the sweater. If you really want to make the sweater shine as the intended by the designer, think back to Lisa Frank stickers when choosing the colours for your project. Pay careful attention to how the colours start to slowly create your motifs. Magically you have unicorns prancing across your needles. That is the real joy and satisfaction that will come from this sweater. If you have never done colourwork before, we couldn't think of a more adorable project to start with.
