Tomato the Frog Prince African Flower- In Person Only
Take your crochet skills to a new level with adorable Tomato the Frog Prince. Constructed in African Flower hexagon crochet, he can be made to resemble a Poison Dart Frog. You can make him a Frog Prince by changing the colors to a more dignified colourway and top him with a golden crown. Poison dart frogs are extremely beautiful, brightly colored little frogs so you can let your imagination run free. You will learn the hexagon shape granny stitch construction, along with the join as you go technique. You will also learn reading from a chart, how to understand the symbols of a crochet chart and a written pattern. Either knit or crochet the I-cord for the feet. Basic crochet knowledge required including chaining, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch. Worked in fingering weight (sock yarn) which will yield an approximate finished size of 13” from nose to tail by 8” tall. For this project, we love Malabrigo Sock yarn and there are many pretty colors to choose from in the shop.
