Harry Potter - Deathly Hallows - Illusion Knit Shawl
Join us for a leisurely Saturday afternoon to create an illusion knit! Finished size is 55” X 28”. However, final size will be determined by the thickness of the yarn used. This class is an excellent steppingstone into the wonderful world of illusion knits. Basic knitting skills required: Cast on, Knit, Purl stitches. Build your skills with kfb increase, decrease, reading a charted pattern, picking up stitches on an edge, and fringe. In this class we will bring to light the technique of illusion knitting or creating a hidden image in your knitting. Reserve your spots early before the spots fill up. See you there!

Supplies:
US 5 Circular Needle
400 yds each of two highly contrasting colors of DK, or
Worsted weight yarn for the body, 100 yards for shawl
edging, and 200 yds for fringe if desired.

NOTE: PLEASE come early to pick your materials and have them wound before class begins. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
