Gauging: Why and How

Are you a Knitter Against Swatches? Do Understand how to swatch or why we do it? Do you get the right gauge whe you swatch but then your sweater turns out too big or too small? If you answer even a slight yes to any of these questions, you should consider this class. You would be amazed at the difference it will make in your knitting journey! Join in person or via Zoom. Reserve spot early before the class fills up. See you soon.

Supplies:

Make 3 swatches 20-25 stitches wide with any weight yarn but DO NOT BIND OFF

Bring multiple needles in similar sizes (We have plenty to purchase to help fill in any gaps you may have in needle sizes)

Measuring tape or Swatch Gauger

Pencil

Paper

NOTE: PLEASE come early to pick your materials and have them wound before class begins. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
