Halloween Cats & Pumpkin Hats - In Person Only
These super cute Halloween themed hats have a ribbed brim and a stocking stitch body with a Fair Isle (stranded color work) cat or pumpkin repeat pattern encircling the lower section of the hat body. Pattern is size inclusive from baby to adult sizes. You can choose to knit flat and seam up the back or knit in the round, no seaming necessary. Basic knitting knowledge required: cast on, knit stitch & purl stitch. You will learn German twisted cast on,Stranded Color work, knitting in the round. Recommended yarn: Malabrigo Rios a light worsted yarn. Or any of the DK yarns from our current trunk shows such as: Purls & Postulates or Rebel Yarns. Top your hat off with a cute pom pom or leave it plain. Which one will you make?

US 6 DPN Needles for decreasing in the round
US 6 Straight Needle - for knit flat
DK/light Worsted yarn in two high contrasting colors
Color A - 1 skein

NOTE: Materials for class must be purchased at the Altered Stitch. Please have your yarns wound prior to class. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
