Have you ever wanted to knit a sweater, but are intimidated by the process? In this class we will learn the basics of the most versatile and easily modified type of garment, the top down sweater. We will go over the different types of top down sweater, learn increases, delve into custom shaping and more.

2 Part Class (4 hours total): Thursday, January 9th and Thursday, January 16th; 6:30-8:30pm

• Class cost: $75

• Class Materials (Yarn must be purchased at The Altered Stitch)

• 1 skein of worsted weight yarn

• Notions: sharp scissors, darning needle, knitting needle to match gauge, stitch markers

Please arrive early if you plan on buying materials at the shop on the day of the class.
