Wanting that perfect, classic cardigan? Look no further than The Puro Cardigan! With set-in sleeves and raglan shaping, this cardigan is timeless. Knit flat in aran/worsted-weight yarn, it’s perfect whether you use worsted weight yarn or DK weight held double with Mohair; you can truly make it your own with this quick-ish knit!
Basic knitting skills (casting on, knitting, and purling) required. Learn new techniques to take your knitting to the next level with increases, decreases, a slick bind-off, and a double-knit button band!
Supplies:
- Worsted or DK+Mohair weighted yarn (amount depending on size)
- US 8 - 10.5
Pattern: "Puro Cardigan" by Rui Yamamuro ($7 to purchase on Ravelry)
NOTE: Yarn for the class must be purchased at The Altered Stitch. Please come early to pick your materials and have them wound before class begins. You are more than welcome to come any day before the class. Any of the staff will be more than happy to help you with your yarn choices and get you prepared for class at your convenience.
